It is crucial to timely obtain the water level rise data of river reservoirs during the flood season for carrying out flood prevention and control work. A large number of river reservoirs are distributed in areas far away from cities and are scattered, especially during emergency flood control stages. If traditional manual inspections are relied on to obtain water level data of rivers, it will consume a lot of manpower and material resources.

The rain and flood remote monitoring and early warning system built through the EMCP IoT cloud platform aims to achieve automatic measurement and reporting of water and rain information in reservoirs (waterways) with "full element, full range, and full coverage" as the goal. It has functions such as hydrological information collection, transmission, processing, and early warning of reservoir water level, rainfall, and on-site images/videos, effectively improving the timeliness and accuracy of rain and flood information. 3、 Solution

The construction of a remote monitoring and early warning system for rain and flood, including on-site water level, flow rate, and rainfall information collection equipment, as well as the reception and display of monitoring center information, and the construction of application systems. The on-site measurement point information collection and transmission equipment completes real-time collection, basic analysis and processing (such as alert status) and display of water level and rainfall information, and is responsible for wirelessly transmitting data to the monitoring center, receiving, displaying, storing, analyzing, processing, and warning data through the EMCP IoT cloud platform.
